Carbon Fiber Hood
Hello I was searching for a Carbon fiber hood and Carid.com has them on sale right now but I was wondering do I need to get rid of the struts and have four hood pins on them or can I just have two hood pins in the front? I would like to just have two in the front but I feel like the hood would snap with the struts!! Any input would help thanks

Re: Carbon Fiber Hood
I imagine you could just ditch the struts all together and get a prop rod from something with a similar size hood. The struts are dead on mine, I'm working on adding a prop but always forget while I'm in junkyard to look for one.

Re: Carbon Fiber Hood
Munroe makes hood struts for fiberglass hoods, I use them on mine with no problem
