Lightweight Targa Top, How Many Would Be Interested In Group Buy?
Hi,
I am currently working on my Solo/Road race GTA and trying to cut some fat/weight out. One point of interest is replacing the 30+ pounder T-tops with a one-piece lightweight Targa top for racing and dry weather purposes only. No weather stripping or water proofing at all.
My intentions are to make it as lightweight as possible and sturdy enough to withstand 150mph runs. Most probabbly it will have some sort of secure/lightweight holding method in the middle in order to brace the targa around the T-bone section and simple and lightweight rod attachments for where the factory t-tops go.
For the cool and wow factor I am also planning on doing a small low profile roof scoop since my car gets really hot and in order to make the cockpit more comfortable when cruising or racing.
If there's enough quorum I am planning in making a total of 10. Question is; Who might be seriously interested in one???
