Front clip assembly help needed.

So a third gen Trans Am kinda fell in my lap so I need some help. It’s an 84. The entire front clip has been removed by the previous owner. What order should I reassemble so I don’t have 100 hours trying to figure this thing out. All ground effects and everything has been removed but I have it all. I would assume ground effects go on after everything is right but how to I get it together with the least amount of stress. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Always liked the '84 models, congrats.

Before I worried about the clip, I'd fix the A-pillar. That will more than likely need to be cut out and new sheet metal welded back in. Hard to tell by the picture though.

it just surface rust, not through. I want to get this thing on the road and work on it as I go. No intention to tear it apart and let it sit in a garage like so many do. This one has sat many years because of a crushed fender I beat out and touched up with Rustoleum e ought to look good from -10 feet. Anyone help with putting the front back together.

Congrats on the project. I always liked that color combo.

I'm no body man. But I would think: Check your door gaps at the quarter panels. The quarters cannot be moved, so the doors must conform to them. Make sure your hinges are good. Once the doors are set, then the fenders go on. Hood next, then the front bumper, with small adjustments to get the fenders/hood/bumper to all line up. After that's all set, I'd go after the ground effects last.
