Is this alright?

I am in the process of converting my 89RS body to a 91\92 Z28 with the aero package. My concern is :
Is it alright to leave the rear spoiler on unpainted till I get it painted in a couple monthes? I smacked the left section of the middle lip spoiler on the rs package into a mailbox so last night I took the whole thing off. Now im just gonna convert the whole thing to the newer ground effects
So im just wondering if Im going to do any harm with the new spoiler just sitting there unpainted? I plan to do the same with the new z28 hood... any problems?
-Nick
thanx :lala:

getting it primered right away would be the best thing for it, because leaving it exposed in factroy-black rubber condition isnt that good of an idea

be carefull, most primers i know of are porus, and water will go right through them... proof lies in my drivers door, which was the first theng i fixed, by the time i had gone around the car, and was ready to paint, it had rusted from behind the primer. Primer sealer i think will hold out water, but again, i 'm not sure

Some primers will allow moisture thru, esp if the suface skin is broken. You need to reseach this one. You may need and apoxy primer. Call a body shop.
