Routing ebrake cable in tunnel?

Routing ebrake cable in tunnel?

My damn e-brake disengage, and I originally thought it was too short, as its for the ls1 system but I have determined that the slots on the body of the car are keeping it from moving. I can get it to work by letting the cables hang there, but I'm worried about them not staying there. How do you guys route you cables, and is there a better way to tuck all this stuff up there?

E-brake guides are available from GM (P/N 10285819 R and 10285818 L). They route the cables away from problems such as exhaust:
