UPDATE: Has anyone upgraded to 7/8" wheel cylinders instead of stock 3/4"?
Did a search, only thing I found was this:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/brak...rum-tweak.html
I know the GN/Monte Carlo crowd uses them to hold more boost/match 12" front brake swaps, so wondered if anyone here had used them. I'm thinking this would be a good match for my C5 front setup w/ stock MC/booster until I swap in a geared PBR rear... Not sure where this would put the front/rear bias, I'll have to see if I can find a formula...
EDIT: I found a formula that seems very comprehensive, but still not sure of all the inputs...

Thanks

TTT, anyone??? Either use them or could chime in that they would help/hurt the front/rear bias?

Well I went ahead and ordered a set of Raybestos ones from Rock Auto, and went to install last night. After fighting getting the old one off and new one on, I realized the threads on the nut are not the same. From research, it appears that both the Monte Carlo that has used these as a swap and our Camaro's both have 3/16" axle lines, only difference is the Montes (and S10s that originally use this WC) have a 3/8-24 thread nut, and our camaro's have a M10x1 bubble flare.
Is there any reason I can't just pull the line off the car, cut off the end, remove the existing nut, add a 3/8-24 nut, and reflare it with a double flare ?
Never done flaring before...

shouldn't be a problem to do it, go get the nuts and rent a flaring tool from your favorite local parts store and do it, just so long as the line is still long enough after cutting

I have done the cut/reflare on the back, just waiting on banjo bolts from Ed for the front, bled the entire system, and I should be ready to rock. Hopefully no leaks
