Performance brake option?

Hi

86 roc with rear wheel discs How do i tell if i have the performance option for the rear brake pads when ordering

The rear performance option didn't arrive until 89 (11.7" rotor with single-piston alum PBR caliper).

Does anybody know how to change the rears? Its it 2 pins like the front? Parking cable interfer?

And then it wasn't a performance option, it was the only choice available for rear discs.

True, but when purchasing you'll often see something like the following, which only leads to confusion:

Rear Disc brakes; 1LE Performance Pkg; Rear

Yes, I wish the "1LE Rear" thing would just die, but it's only been 20 years.
