1986 iroc tons of new G.M. parts
i bought this black iroc back in 2001. i bought the car with a rebuilt title that was never wrecked. the reason it has a rebuilt title is because it was stolen back in 1986, and the insurance paid the owner. the iroc was found later in a barn. the only thing missing was the factory fog lights, and the radio, and the driver window was broken. since i bought the car back in 2001, the 305 tpi motor was rebuilt, bored .030, comp cam with .444 lift on intake and exhaust. the transmission was rebuilt and had a shift kit, and new torque converter installed. the complete front end (nose, fenders, hood) were removed and all body work was done at a G.M. dealership. new silver IROC-Z decals installed. they totally went over the car, and said it had never been wrecked. there is a ton of new parts, and i know i will forget some of them. new tires all the way around, new brake calipers, pads, and bearings packed. new rear calipers, pads and brake hoses. new G.M. fog lights, hood louvers, and a dual cooling fan setup off an 88 iroc. new t-top seals, new carpet, new headliner with matching sun-visors and sail panels. i installed a monsoon cd player out of a 2001 camaro ss. new heater core, new a/c compressor. new parking brake cable's, new ign lock cyl, new leather shift ****. 145 mph speedometer. the car shows appx 135,500 miles with the motor and trans done at appx 132,000 miles and body work done at appx 134,000. this car is a garage queen, and i have always had it in the garage since i bought it. power window, mirrors, and door locks. cat-back flowmaster 40 series muffler. car is not far from being near new/mint condition. i know i'm missing a bunch. can send more pictures if you like. asking $5,000 firm

Very nice car, indeed. I wish I had that kind of cash. I am looking to buy an IROC, but my limit is right around 3 grand. Love your car, though.

The IROC was a very popular car for thieves, at one time.
