[IA] 1986 350 hardtop
1986 Camaro 350 V8/th-350 swap. Freshly redone. I had the entire interior out and patched any rust holes in floorboards and wheel wells. Dynomatted under the carpet and did some seam welding before re-installing carpet. Custom black interior. Reskinned the door panels/speaker covers/dash/arm rest/headliner/etc black with red accents/stitching. Fresh bushings on drivers side door (none of the common door sag these cars get) Seats out of a 4th gen, new aftermarket steering wheel. Upgraded speedometer to 160mph unit, and tachometer to a 4 in 1 gauge + shift light. White led dash/courtesy/dome lights, Aftermarket head unit (mp3 stick capable) equalizer control, Kicker impulse amp, and a ported single 12 custom fit box in back. 350 swap has a Wieland intake, brand new Summit carb, chrome air cleaner, chrome t-stat housing, chrome valve covers, Mallory ignition/distributor, headers, dynomax muffler, and dual chrome double wall tips. Upgraded h4 hyperwhite headlight housing with Tinted tails/turn signals. Fresh red paint job with black racing stripes. Where there were holes/rust (started with a pretty clean shell) I welded in new metal, didn't just put bondo on it. I also Smoothed rear bumper, deleted front emblem, put a single intake in nose, and made a lip spoiler. Wheels/tires are Craiger SS powder coated black with the fat and skinny look. 16 sticky tires on the back, 14 front. Handling is surprisingly neutral. The previous owner put a Detroit locker rear end in the car, I am unsure of the gears he installed but you can definitely feel the locker working. I rolled fenders so they don't rub on the tires (they are big!) New custom length driveshaft/u joint for the engine swap by certified power, new transmission mount, new interstate battery, new urethane torque arm mount, rear urethane sway bar end links. Jacking rail/subframe connector on drivers side. The car does need hood/trunk shocks. The paint could use a wetsand and polish (as I never did) There is a crack in a windsheild (had a local guy quote me 150$ including glass to fix) It does drip a bit of transmission oil and it could use new rubber around the doors. Overall nice driver, I get a lot of looks when I drive it around. I bought the car for a project, I have too many cars and a baby on the way so I need the extra money. Shoot me a text or give me a call at six four one, nine nine zero thirty eight thrity seven. I don't check my messages very often so if I don't pick up you will get a faster response from text. For some before/after pictures go to: http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...ld%20vs%20new/ I'm asking 3,995$ but feel free to shoot me an offer, I would really like to get sold.
