What's It Worth?

Not trying to post ***** but I'm at a loss. I have a 1984 Z51 Vette with 96,xxx original miles and I've been trying to sell or trade for a third gen Camaro V8. I'm having a little trouble getting rid of it , it isn't a show car but it is a piece of American history. I'mwondering if the economy is so bad no one can afford it right now or if I'm asking too much. I have over $2,800 in replacement parts in the last two years with receipts for everything. Your opinions would be much appreciated to help me get back into the third gen f-body world since my 91 Z28 vert in the album on my profile got totaled last year by a drunk driver I’m missing her bad. I've provided a link to my original thread on here with all the info for the vette.
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/cama...-corvette.html

Thanks in advance!

Re: What's It Worth?

Not able to see the link on the vette on your post so not sure what you are asking for it, but those body style have never been in high demand compared to the rest of vette bodies, in my opinion theyre the least desirable of the vette bodies but still cool, but im sure if you hold on to it for a bit a vette lover will come along whos willing to trade a third gen

Re: What's It Worth?

Sorry the link is up now, but yeah I traded a rusted K5 blazer to a buddy for it and replaced the ecm module and some other suspension parts it runs awesome, my third gen got totaled last April and I've been hoping to get another but a baby and bills doesn't provide the chance to buy one out right, right now.

thanks for the reply

Re: What's It Worth?

Yeah man I'm getting it sprayed flat black in about a month to get rid of any scratches or worn fiberglass components and that will present a benefit to any possible buyers or traders since all the body work will be done and they'll have a clean blank canvass to start with. I've never been a Vette guy but hell for the truck I traded with no heat nor a/c I couldn't refuse. Thanks for the luck, if you run across any possible deals keep me in mind man

Re: What's It Worth?

I think the economy is bad. According to the link below you're offering it at a bargain.

Re: What's It Worth?

Yeah I worked at a dealership a few years back and I know the NADA and KBB is only a reference source but even then it's still far below retail for the Z51 package either way, I didn't expect to sell it in a week but I was hoping for more action lol **** happens so it's all good. Maybe the right persons will see and jump on it, thanks for the repsonses guys I'm a memeber of over 8 forum sites and this is BY FAR the BEST ONE with the BEST PEOPLE!
