Buying parts over the internet
I went to www.paceparts.com (based in Ohio) to order some LCA bolts and nuts. So I filled out the order form and they sent me an email asking for a photocopy of my credit card (both sides), and a photocopy of my signature because it's an international order. I was wondering if anyone has been asked this before, or if anyone has any advice on dealing with stuff like this.

I never been asked before to do anything like that, most internet business use paypal or you could just order over the phone. If it were up to me I wouldn't waste my time with those guys, sounds like its more BS then its worth. Plus do you know about the brokerage fee when you order from the states, if the deal is not under 20 bucks you will pay a extra $30+ for your couple of bolts that you might get from any GM or parts place.

Thanks for the tip. The problem is is that I can't seem to find them locally. The guy at the GM dealership was useless rude lazy ***. All he said was that the bolt was discontinued. He didn't bother to look for me if he could order it in from some stock. Anyways, thanks. I'll try some more to get them from some place in Canada.

IROCNParts, thanks, but I found a dealer that doesn't have a bad attitude and is actually willing to check availability of parts (Wolfe Chev). It cost me an arm and a leg, but I it's convenient. Maybe I'll talk to you later about some new seat belt buckles. When's your web site going to be fully functional?

I may be requesting front seat belts buckles in a couple of days. When I go to Wolfe, I will check if they are going to do anything about the seatbelt recall, and if not, I will make a request.
