"Code not found"...

I need some help "Decifering" some of the codes that TGO's,...downloadable "RPO" Decoder shows as : (code not found), or just: (???), for an answer. If anyone can help... here are the required codes: For my 1985 Camaro Z-28 Sport Coupe, these are still a puzzle to me: B9K, GE8, GE9, NOD, W82, YT9, ZF8, Z31, & 1AY . e.gWe all know that: Z28 = Merchandized PKG, Special Performance),

Last edited by Dodgeismo; 07-24-2009 at 02:56 PM. Reason: E72 RPO code found: Body length increased 18".

Re: "Code not found"...

1AY CUSTOMER/(DEALER) CUSTOM ORDER
N0D (Dual Exhaust)?
YT9 (Custom Door and Quarter Panels)?
B9K (Molding, Door Edge Guard)?

This is the info I found on a website for a 1986 IROC. Should not be that much different for 1985. Here is the link. Hope it helps.

No worries on acknolwedging man. It would have been nice if GM ever got around to produce "The Complete R.P.O. Code Book" as I would call it for the F bodies through out the years. But I mean even a book with the correct numbers of production etc.

Yeah really,..was it such a huge money maker business, (3rd gens + GM in general..1980's-until...), that they lost site of a simple classifiable issue as recording RPO #'s ? they sure keep track of all the executive jet flights as of late though...don't they. Also, 1 quick question...I am in the process of aquiring parts from a TGO'er, and am getting PayPal, but I don't trust $$$ and the internet, (30 minutes after I applied,..I recieved an E-mail, classified as junk!...asking me to take a 10 million dollar inheritance fron so & so bank,..too close to my info for comfort. What other means of payment do you guys use here at 3rd gen?)

Re: "Code not found"...

I have used Paypal since 2006, never a problem unless it was my fault. If anything use a credit card on Paypal, so this way transactions can be reversed through a simple call to your CC Company if any issues arise. I've never been scammed but then again I know how to stay away from scammers.

-Take care
