Car: 86 Camaro IROC-Z
Engine: 305 TPI (retrofit)
Transmission: T5
Axle/Gears: Crappy stock 10-bolt gears
FS: NEW Probe Forged Pistons With Rings.
Brand new never installed. Purchased for $600 from mopac. Going for bigger displacment (383) and as such i need different pistons.
These are Probe FPS series premium forged pistons. 0.030" over-bore with a -20.3cc dish. these are press-fit pistons and would make an excellent upgrade for a factory motor for someone looking to run a modest amount of nitrous.
Zero-deck these in your block with 64cc heads (like vortecs) with a 0.040" thick head gasket and you get a perfect 40-thou quench distance and 9.0:1 compression. perfect for a budget street-rod!
i'll throw in a new set of total seal (conventional, NOT gapless) plasma-moly rings too!
