My own custom kick panels

OK, after taking Jim's tips and all the pointers that he laid out for me, and after reading varoius threads I decided to make my own kick panels. I had a pair of Boston nx-67 speakers in my winter car and decided to take those instead of spending a couple hundred bucks on a component system. Needless to say, my garage is going to smell like resin and bondo for a while.

I just covered them with black felt for the time being. I've got to take another run to the fabric store later. So what do you guys think?

They look pretty good. Lets see the back so we can see the construction method.

IMHO, those look and the foot pedals look even The trunk looks okay but I hope you have a cargo shade or 5% tint to deter those freakin thieves!

It looks like you're off to a good start for your first try, but as you practice a little more, I think you'll be able to get that area between the speakers and the edge of the kick to be a lot smoother and more professional looking.

Yea definetely. I think the speakers i mounted too high and need to try to make it more flush. But I threw it together just to see how it would look my first time. They sound pretty good tho.

If you dont mind me asking, about how much did it end up costing?

For a first try I think they look VERY good!
