Pic request, 6x9's
LIke the title says, id like to see what ppl have done to mount speakers in the stock 6x9 location. Usually when you go with aftermarket, the tweeters stick out too far for the cover to go on. SO im trying to figure out a way to put them on and maintain factory look. Any tips also appreciated.

Axle/Gears: huh?? guessing stock.
well for the two weeks that I had 6X9's in the back I had just cut out the fiberboard on the back of the sail panels round the speakers edge so that if any of it did touch the panel it would only touch the cloth.
Now I run only a front stage. no need for rear fill.

stealthy, got any pix? I was thinking of doing that, but each time i go to cut the board i think twice, cuz its TAN, and ive never seen another tan interior around here. So im gonna see if i can "tinker" with the mounting brackets first. On another post, a member told me he has the exact same speakers, and he had no cover fitment problems.... Not sure how, but i asked him to post pix if hes got any.
