Input voltage too high!!??
I recently upgraded to a high volt (4) Pioneer deck. After spending hours rewiring one of my Kenwood amps doesn't work right. I have checked the wiring and its all good. The speakers pop when I turn it on. I got it to work a bit by turning the input sensitivity down to the minimum and having to turn up the volume on my deck.
Any ideas on whats going on?
It is an old style Kenwood amp KAC 746 and it worked fine with my old deck. Is it just to old to handle the new voltage? That's the only thing that I have changed!

TURN THE GAINS DOWN!!!!! I have a multi amp system and I had to set 3 sets of gains on just the amps..not to mention the 4 gains on the crossover...it was a biatch to get to work out...though it only took about 1-2 hours total to get sounding right.
