fuel help
i swaped a 4 cyl camaro to a 350.i have everything done, now i cannot get fuel to the carb.i pulled the assy out of the tank, took off the fuel pump and pluged the lines.i am using the return line for fuel(i read a post)and put a screen filter on the vent line.i hooked the return line to the supply line on the body and crossed at the cross member to a in line fuel filter before and after the fuel pump.now i can not get gas to the carb or the pump.i pulled the hose and tried to suck it out and nothing but a good buzz.the pump will work on a gas can to run engine.i am lost now,so help please.i am thinking of just rubber tubing with braid all the way down the car.so any help will be awsome.

I'm a little confused what you plugged and what you put the filter on. IIRC, the return line doesn't go to the bottom of the tank, so you're just sucking fumes out of the tank.

when i pulled the pump out there were two lines to the bottom, one an inch in the tank and one to a big metal thing.the two that went to the bottom, one with the pump so it no longer goes to the bottom with it off and the other one.that is what i hooked it to.the real short one i put a filter screen on and left it open for air and pluged the other two.the tank i got is fron a v8 tpi 87 camaro
