When you guys say Computer controled quadrajet do you mean like its got electric choke, mine has a wire hooked up to it with current running threw it, pretty sure its fore the choke but i still ain't sure and would like to know hehe. Also where is the computer located, my car was originally v6, swaped to v8, i baught it with no engine and put sbc 305 in for now. I had this wire that seems like its directed straight to the carb, it plugs perfect on it and their is current going their. (84 camaro, originally v6, now has 81 z28 lg4 305(not the carb from the 81 z28 on the engine)).

No; there's more to it than that.

It's entriely possible to have an electric choke on a non-computer-controlled carb. In fact, you can buy an electric choke kit for most newer Holley carbs.

The computer controls the mixture via a mixture control solenoid, and has a sensor to detect throttle position. Needless to say, the internals are quite a bit different from a non-CC one.

Here's what it looks like. MCS is sticking out the top of the carb at the corner, TPS is right in front of the throttle linkage. If you have those, it's CC; if not, it's not.

Alot of the Canada cars didn't get the CC setup, so that makes sense.
