cc q-jet vacuum help

Hey guys i had to recently pull the motor to fix a few things and my dad took all the vacuum hoses off and now we cant figure out were they all go. i found the diagram but it looks like chinese to me. Also ive seen on my dads old k-5 blazer its got a holley but i wondered if i could do it with mine. it has no AIR system or vacuum hoses it just has one going from the card to the distributor. so i was wondering if i could do this, and take the AIR system out. any help would be great. five7kid if your reading this any insight i know your good.

Well, to start, if it has a line from the carb to the distributor, it's not CC.

Sorry, but believe it or not, I don't get paid to sit at the computer and answer questions.

You can cap off things not being used or that are unhooked during diagnostics. But, you can't cap off the MAP sensor or the computer won't know what to tell the carb and distributor to do. You need to keep the PCV hooked up. You need to keep the choke pull-off ("vacuum break") hooked up.

Re: cc q-jet vacuum help

Ok thanks guys I know kid that you don't get paid to do this and I also appreciate all of the info you guys have given me in the past. It's just my parents have been hounding me to finish the car.( I'm only 19). But I know the map sensor is dead because its one of my error codes. So what your saying is I can cap everything except the map sensor and keep the pcv hooked up
