I have recently acquired a 90 camaro tbi auto along with boxes of parts. The only harness that came with the car was this harness
It isn’t the proper connector for the body side of the c100 and I know it’s not the tbi harness. Only thing I can think of is that it’s a carb harness. Any insight would be awesome.
That is a partial body wiring harness, mostly front clip. As you can see it has the signal bulbs integrated into it and three relays, most likely for lighting. You may find that the car had front end damage and that the original harness was damaged, but that is a wild a$$ guess on my part.
Little hard to see but I can see what looks like a single pin O2 sensor pigtail and I think the rainbow wiring goes over the motor and into the passenger side by the door?
the rectangle plastic thing goes on the driver side rail and houses mainly body / cruise control wires
Try reverse search the part numbers and you can see what year they work on...
those relays don;t look like anything at last that ive seen 87 and up. I think 89 used rounder rela ys and at least i know 87 has more rectangular shaped relays.
That bracket doesn;t look like an 87 up bracket as well....so if anything maybe its 82 *- 84?
Can't tell you what year it is myself. But I see Firebird headlight motor relays, connectors for single (not dual) headlights, parking light & side marker light bulb sockets (some with the bulbs still in them), the fender side of C100, horn connector, and 1 or 2 other things that I'm not sure of. The part that somebody put that red split-loom on is the pass side headlight etc. Unmistakably Firebird.
Doesn't fit your Camaro no matter what year either it or your car is.
Relays are relays are relays are relays are relays. The same part # relays tended to be used ALL OVER the car where one was needed, for all applications; the only difference being, some had the 5th contact (normally closed), and some didn't. I doubt the part # will help identify anything. Those are the earlier style though; they went to the oval can type with sealed connectors, in maybe 89 or so, like karr said. So it's probably from 88-back or whatever exact year that change was.
