well you atarted off decent for me. Sent me the decklid with the center wing section it arrived busted. Due to poor packaging. Then i never got the corner pieces. then i asked for a another wing heard nothing. Than i asked for my money back got nothing. Than you want me to send a decklid back that cost me 60 bucks to ship so you can send me back 50. So that would cost me 120 in shipping to get 50.
I just want my money. Just because you have 7 million friends or postives does not mean you are not in teh wrong. You pmed me today telling me my corners got returned to you. Thats the oldest story in the i dont give a crap book dude.
Once again you dont care about answering anything your a big *****. I watch you read pm's and threads just browse around trolling on the wanted section. People call you out and all you do is change the subject.

Well man,I guess I'll be the first positive?
I bought some parts from cam91rs1,and rec. them quickly.
There was a little mis-communication on both ends but hey,like he stated,when you work that amount of hours theres not alot of time left in the day to sit in front of the computer.
Still waiting on my ground effects and rear bumper that I paid for back in December. I'm sending a pm or two a week asking where they are and always get the same message back "been busy, they will be out by friday". Except for the one time you claimed they shipped and came back to you because of an invalid address...which is the same thing you told yetterben. I so wish I would have paid $40 more to the other member that had the parts I needed.
God, I just want my money back, I don't believe I'll ever see the ground effects and am beginning to doubt their existence... 160 may not seem like alot to some people, but considering I make less than $600 a month it's quite the hit for me.

why didnt you just put a complaint thing with paypal? they get your money back. a few months ago i sold somehting and procrastinated to ship it off and the guy put the "i want my money back deal" and i finally stopped being a jackas$ and shipped it out. what happens if i didnt ship it out? he would have won his case, and it would have said i was negative in money for my paypal, but can paypal really do anything about it???? obviously i didnt chance it and sent the item out right away so he wouldnt get his money back (that i already had spent)

I bought a pair of 91-92 hood bubbles from Jared. They were shipped fast and packaged well. The price was very good, nothing bad to say whatsoever about him.
Unfortunately I don't even have a thirdgen to put them on anymore, never did put them on.
Yeah I'm a little confused myself, it needs to be locked.
But here is my 2 cents:
It takes 10 positive feedbacks for people to trust you as a seller, but only takes 1 negative to ruin a reputation. It doesn't matter who jumps in and defends you.
Instead of posting a thread like this to add more fuel to the fire, quit creating more threads to sell stuff, make the bad experiences right first.
It's obvious you have a few people that have been burned as I'm typing this reply and want thier money or parts they paid for.
Because I can see where it will piss someone off if they paid for something and haven't gotten it yet, and your still active on the board continuing on with business as usual.
You've burned bridges that need repaired, and it's hard to do when you keep trying to walk on that bridge when it's not fixed yet......
I'm willing to bet that if you refund the money back to the individuals, make it right with them...then wait a little bit everything will die down and you can continue with your business and a valuable lesson learned from all this.

This is my whole point, if your THAT busy with work you don't need to be in the business of selling parts.
Yeah it's funny he had time to cash the check, just make a seperate thread and call him out like the others had to do, seems like the only way to get a resoultion.
I hate to keep sounding like a broken record, but it really irks me when people pay for stuff and the seller drags *** to ship it.
I pride in the fact that when I sold stuff in the past that I make sure it goes out within in a day or two. I don't work 60 hours a week, so I know I have time to wheel and deal online. I finished college last december and was working full time..so in a sense I was "working" a lot....yet I still had time to box up something and swing it by fedex between work and classes.
Working all the time is NO excuse for not being a good seller, that's your personal business and has nothing to do with the sale. I feel if you have time to cash checks and create more "for sale" threads.....you have time to ship parts.
If you mailed him a cashiers check and he cashed it, then that's considered mail fraud if you haven't got your parts and he's ignoring you. I would check into that, it's a pretty serious offense.

On 3/16/09 he told me that he has the upcoming thursday off so he would ship the speakers then. Welll...nothing. 3/31/09 he said he had shipped them a week and a half ago...i guess they were shipped off to lala land.
If he sent them through the post office with the cheapest method possible (parcel post) it could take up to a month to get your parts.
I had a guy do that to me that lived in the same state as me, it took almost three weeks to get my TPI intake even though he was five -six hours away. The reason is because parcel post is low priority and USPS doesn't touch it before priority mail shipments...they wait until the very end.
Thats noooo excuse to stop emailing me with regards to questions i had for him. He could also have told me he sent it via the mail which yes takes longer.
I have never bought anything from him, and now, I never will, just like previously posted. i do not care if you work 100 hours a week, if you have time to list, sell, and keep the money for something, then you have time to ship it. And for heavens sake, turn the caps lock off, and maybe even use the enter key to make pargraphs, I can hardly bare to read your responses!
Just thought I'd post my opinion on all this. I've gone through alot of the classified dealings concerning cam91rs1 and I've come to this...
Most of the deals were positive. It's the few negative dealings and how you handled them that's the problem. Everyone is busy but if you're going to offer parts for sale you at least owe some sort of "customer service".
Not answering e-mails, timely shipping, timely refunds when justified and so on. Anyone that does their homework viewing the feedback section before purchasing parts will see your dealings. I for one would not buy from you. Nothing personal but to me, it would feel like rolling the dice on what to expect.

I was just about to buy some shocks from him when i received a couple private messages with links to a few of these post, and stories of bad dealings.
You seem cool but there is no way i can take a chance on losing my money. I try to do this on a budget, and to lose $50 may not seem like much but when you have three kids it is! I have sold alot of things, and i too work many hours but i always make sure before i sell stuff that i will have the time to send it out, and that the people i deal with are happy with what i sell them.
Again sorry but i can't take that chance!
Caps lock and bad grammar can discredit you as well. If I read a response like that I would think you didn't care enough about your dealing to take the time to type out a coherent response.

There is a lot of positive feedback; I try my hardest to send stuff out in a timely manner.
As far as refunds go, there was a certain instance where all I wanted was the person to send it back. He didn’t want to due to shipping costs on his end. He posted pictures of the damage and the refund was sent within days of seeing them.
The problem with the GFX was my fault. There was a bunch of communication between us (I thought) going back and forth on whether or not to send them, but that’s taken care of now.
The speakers, I’m not sure what’s going on there. Trust me I’m not trying to rip someone off for $25.00. I’ve since emailed him and he hasn’t responded so I’m not sure what’s going on there.

Pretty simple actually. You cashed my check and i still dont have any speakers and its 4-27-09!
As far as emailing. On 3-31-09 i asked for a tracking number...no response.
On 4-6-09 i told you i havent recieved the speakers yet and i asked for my money back.
On 4-17-09 i asked you why you werent responding to my emails.
On 4-18-09 you finally responded saying b/c you havent sent any, which is false.
I have to say I wouldn't deal with him again, after two bad transactions no way. You all can do what you want, I also worked 70 plus hours a week when I was selling parts but I made sure I knew what I was selling and shipped them out in a timely manner. If I ever ran into problems, the customer was always the first to know, I would never lead a person on, the TRUTH is always the best policy.

Isn't this board for classified feedback, and not a board to get everyones opinion about you. i thought this board was for telling people about specific transactions, and not to see what people think of you overall. i don't think this thread should have even been started, and to tell you the truth im surprised its not locked yet. if someone could please explain the purpose of this thread to me, that would be great. personally, i think this thread should be locked, it is completely pointless.

First off to 88TransAmFreak It seems like you have been on the site a while and have seen your share of this kind of cr_p..... sad to say you had to be the bearer of bad news to some on cutting losses and moving on.....to the adrian guy the purpose of this post is simple....I was looking for parts for my car and here I stumble on this guys post of parts...lucky for me I also stumble on this here post of negativity and guess what it just saved me a sh-t load of headaches and this guy a sh-t load of trouble...sorry I am not a patient person so 91camaro would have more than emails from me....point is this post saved all that struggle from even taking plce ...his loss ....no one elses.....as for 88TransAmFreak...thanks for the proper replies and showing me, a brand new member, that this website can be trusted...I was begining to worry...good luck to you all that got F'd over

I put a WTB add for a matching set of locks to which this guy replied. He said he had a complete matched 4 lock set and I paid him through paypal. I get the locks a week or so later and low and behold there are only 3 locks and (shocker) the key only worked in one of the locks.
I PM'ed him and it took a few days to get a reply in which he said "You have to be $h!t!ng me, that was my matched set". I politely asked if he was calling me a liar and pointed out the two door locks had different color paint on them. I asked if he had the correct set as I really needed locks. I got the run around and finally dug up some of these negative posts and asked for a refund. It took me saying i would involve the attorney general and his local PD to get a prompt refund.
I would not trust this man or anthing he says. FWIW.
