How can I get my trunk lid to close flush?
My trunk lid does not close evenly across. The passenger side sits a good 1/2 or more higher than the drivers side. Its the actual trunk lid not the spoiler if you look right above the tail light. This car has the later non pull down trunk latch so adjusting that is out of the question. I adjusted the rubber bumpers inside and that does nothing too. Is there any trick or method I am missing?

Easiest thing to check first would be to disconnect the struts & see if one is pushing harder or one is one out allowing that side to fall & "twist" the hatch.

Re: How can I get my trunk lid to close flush?
I thought (maybe I am wrong been about a year since I have seen my car) that there were rubber screw bumpers for adjusting the trunk up and down. I know the coupes have them on the hatch... My convertible trunk is off center, It is shifted to one side... The spoiler lines up right, but the trunk itself is off to (I think the right).

There was screw bumpers on mine. They're on the lid itself.
You can see them on the corners.
