Hypertech Chip Problems

I just installed a Hypertech performance chip in my car and its seems slower and wants to turn off on me while driving. Any suggestions on why this might be happening. I did by it for my dads Corvette but it doesnt fit and the manual says it fits on mine and im wondering if that might be the problem.

Re: Hypertech Chip Problems

Are you stating that Hypertech list that chip as the application for both a 87 Chev Iroc TPI as well as a 96 Chev Vette? Unlikely.
