Hack Job on Harness leaves me with.. How do I eliminate the ECM and keep what I need?
It's an 86 Camaro Sport Coupe with a 305 LG4 and 700-R4. Manual everything carb and a bunch of cut wires.. what do I have to retain to make everything work right without an ECM? That seems like the most reasonable solution. Thanks all.....

As far as the harness on top of the engine goes you would only need to retain wires going to A/C(if you have it), temp sensor(for the guage), oil pressure wire(for guage). The various battery cables to the starter, ignition, and alternator also need to be present and you may need to rearrange the hot wire to the dist. Other than that I believe you can get rid of everything else. Don't take my word for it though. I'm sure I forgot something.
