I've been doing a lot of searching here, and I really like the DFI idea. I went to the Mr. Gasket site and downloaded the demo software, and I think it's something I can work with. But where do you get it? That site doesn't have it, and I tried searching for an accel store that does and couldn't turn up anything. I don't even know how much it costs, and I'm almost afraid to ask.

By the way, if anyone wants to comment on how well or not well it'll work for my plans, I'd appreciate it. Here they are -- 383 Vortec TPI, SS runners, complete porting job, hooker headers into a borla cat-back, roller cam somewhere in the 219/224 range, 52mm throttle body, ditch the MAF if possible, and too much chassis and interior work to list off. Thanks a lost.

anyone? These boards have been awesome, don't let me down now! j/k, I know some of us rookies can be kind of annoying with simple questions that have probably been asked before, but I'd sure appreciate a point in the right direction.

Can't tell you where to get the demo software, but if you go to www.whiteracing.com or www.fasttrackperformance.com , you should be able to get the information you're looking for. They both also make adapter harnesses that will allow you to retain the factory harness without having to hack it up. If you call up Frank White over at white racing, he'll be able to set you straight with what you need and he's a good guy to talk to. Hope this helps.

I don't see anything in your combo that warrants anything more then a 90-92 EFI setup. Might just save the money for stuff to go faster, and learn about DIY Proms.
