EBL Idle

have a new Vortec to TBI just completed and workin on the tune. Does this idle seem right by these numbers,
575-650 rpm
map-35
Gms-13-16
SA-jumps up and down between-16-24
sPW-1.5-1.6
aPW-0.0
DC%-2-3
CL
INT-124-127
BLM-127
IAC-4-5
It idles good, may have fouled a plug or 2 on initial start-up and run?
Using the 0010bin supplied on CD with the Vortec sa table copied in.
Thanks On a couple minutes of idle, it will go as high as 10, my error

Re: EBL Idle

I think Rbob prefers to see higher IAC steps, and you may want to adjust your timing in the idle cells so that it doesn't move as much. Other than that, looks pretty good. If the engine is idling smoother, go with it.

That is not good. Lock SA idle. There is a flag for that. I idle at 17 but I would try others as well.

IAC 4-5 I think is fine.

If it still pulses consider idle OL. Another flag for that. Today I was at 13.8-14.0/1 at idle.

Also there is an idle SA compensation table. If you lock SA I believe it disallows use of it. I think I reduced anyway to 1 deg in table.

Re: EBL Idle

Thanks Ronny for the info, and sorry for the long delay for giving that Thanks to you. Don't have the #'s in front of me at the moment, but, it has settled down considerably, I think, at 19 is what I wound up with, idle is good, now, on to the VE tables. Does the ignition coil have to be mounted on the intake? I would like to "clean" the clutter in this area. Can it be mounted on the firewall behind and above the dist? Again, many Thanks for the info, been trying to get an annoying squeal on the serp. belt, somewhere, to SHUT up.

I also move the coil to the firewall, off the hot engine.
