Headway in 6E swap.

Finally today I think I may be on my way with my 6E swap in my CJ7.

This is a 350 with ARAP bin, with AUJL timing table. I set the injector constant to 24lb. and I lowered all the values in MAF table 1 by multipling the entire table by .8. This idles and runs much better, not perfect by any means.

1. At idle the INT is 128 but BLM is 140. Should I massage the MAF table a little more shooting for 128 BLM?

2. Should I lower the values in the rest of the MAF tables like I did in table 1?

3. IAC counts at idle are 0, worry or not?

I logged a short around the block drive, I would love for some of you gurus to take a look and suggest what area to work on next to polish this turd some more. Thanks so much.

Re: Headway in 6E swap.

140/128 = 1.09375, so if you multiply the MAF flow at idle by that much, it should bring it down to 128. You can drive around and see what BLMs show up, and use that simple equation to make the proper changes, if necessary.

IAC counts being 0 is a little strange - might have a decent size manifold leak, or, your throttle screw is too far open, or, the IAC isn't actually moving and is stuck open a little (could even be some debris in the passage preventing the IAC from closing. One small problem with IAC at 0 is that the pintle can get stuck there. The other problem is that the idle might be a little higher than commanded, so, it's not really in control any more.
