Changing EBL Diagnostic screen

I'm using the P4 version of EBL. I was wondering if there is a way for users to add/delete/change parameters and colors being viewed when using the EBL diagnostic screen. I note everything tracked is in RED. . Trying to view more than I wanted to see at the time, all in red, made it a bit confusing. I note online images of the non-P4 screen at Dymanic EFI showing other colors, So I figured I was missing something here.

Maybe a person wants to observe other events, or less events, rather than what was pre-picked. I haven't found the way to add/delete parameters, or change the assigned color. I was thinking assigning colors to particular parameters would be helpful for viewing, Haven't found a way to implement that change yet.

Enlightenment is a good thing. Thanks to all responders.

Re: Changing EBL Diagnostic screen

Other then the background colors the EBL Flash and EBL P4 Flash WUD diagnostic displays are the same. The only red is the graph of the NB O2 sensor value. If a Preferred WB is selected that is shown on the same graph in magenta.

The purpose of the diag display is to view the raw sensor data.

Re: Changing EBL Diagnostic screen

How do I see other paramaters on the graph? So if I want to see BLM's, AFR , RPM and KPA's on the graph, can they be chosen somehow? The presets of MAP, CTS, TPS and IAC, as they are not necessarily the parameters I'd like to view on the graphing portionof the display.

Not sure what graph you are referring to, there isn't any that provide MAP, CTS, and IAC.

You can create a .csv dump of a log and open it in Excel. Then graph anything there is.

We are planning on putting in a graphing feature where the user selects what to show on the graph. I started the code to do this but then scaling and annunciation of the values became problematic.

This is the next feature to be added to the WUD. Scaling will be done to fit everything on the display area. But the only displaying of the values will be at the point of the cursor. Like the small box in the upper right of the 1/4 mile graph.

Re: Changing EBL Diagnostic screen

Thanks Rob. I just looked at my first data log using the EBL system's What up Display and switched over to the Diagnostic display.

I could see the tracing (graphing) of the Narrow Band AFR sensor over time. (and only the NB sensor) I would have liked to seen other data on the same screen that would help correlate parameters, Much Like when I used Tunerpro RT, I could see, (track, graph) four parameters of my choosing. There are many items shown on the What's Up Display. I'd like to view some of them( and have a choice of what I'm viewing while replaying the sata log, but seeing it graphed in the diagnostic area.

(I'd also like peace in the world, new underwear for Christmas, and a wife that doesn't question what I do to the car, why or how much it cost))

I believe when I was using the same graph live, I saw several others lines on the screen as well tracing other parameters. Oddly only the NB sensor shows now.

Thanks for all the input and kind responses.

I look forward to this feature. Reminds me of Datamaster in that way. I know it will help me as I rely on Excel for any graphing. I think I would still use Excel, but not as frequently if I just want to quickly graph a couple sensors.
