What is the item in TP?

I data logged my new 396 CID SB stroker for the first time last week. I see in WU my A/F is 13.1 to 13.3 in CL. I believe it should be 14.1 for E10 fuel. I believe the WB is calibrated correctly and the reporting is accurate. I may have tweaked the NB 02 swing values rich -lean- median to enrichen the A/F in CL in my prior 3006 port fuel bin. However I cannot find the item in TP. I did find " 02-Idle 02 window terms" but I don't believe that is the one I am failing to find.

Thank you!

I think you're probably looking for Fast O2 R/L threshold vs MAP. this controls the non-idle swing points. but when modifying this, make sure the Slow O2 upper and lower error tables keep the same relationship to the new Fast values.

Re: What is the item in TP?

I cannot find that in 3006? I found only one item that relates to MAP. It is INT-Mean R/L. Map 100 is 521 mv and MAP 20 is 572. My port fuel .bin shows values ZERO's ! That cant be correct?

I found 02 upper lower stay closed loop and go into CL. Also I found INT Mean R/L. Again all ZERO's? Also 02 idle 02 window and agin mine are ZERO's.

I am going to copy the 3006 values. Not sure how that happened.....

Re: What is the item in TP?

I find that when I use compare function in TP it puts zeros in the compare bin. I was using my bin as compare. If I reverse and put the 3006(EBL bin) as compare it does same placing zeros in 3006. Not sure why. Anyway still cant find what you were referring to.. My bin is okay as when I do key on I get the blink of CE.

Likely are doing a differential compare. Which with the same values in each BIN will show a difference of zero. Look for these three tables:

INT - Lean O2 (Lower)
INT - Mean R/L
INT - Rich O2 (Upper)

In idle this table is used:

O2 - Idle O2 Window Terms

Re: What is the item in TP?

It looks like I have the 3006 values in my current bin. I only changed the BPC B4 we fired it up. I used your utility. The reported A/F from WB showed rich in CL however the coolant was 140F and rising...Still wondering why the rich? Maybe the coolant not up to 180 …..

Re: What is the item in TP?

I see in 3006 that 02 Idle 02 terms has Lean at 569 Rich at 599 and Mean R/L at 599. Why Rich and Mean the same?

What was the INT & BLM doing? It may be that the NB O2 sensor wasn't fully up to temperature yet.

That BIN is based on AXCN, which uses those values. Most likely for a better idle.

Re: What is the item in TP?

First datalog after setting the distributor and timing:

10 sec into log A/F 10.5/1. NB 02 (heated) swings are from .450-460.

2 min into log A/F is 13.7 NB shows 400-700 swing.

MAP is 72. Car is at idle bur periodically RPM goes to 2000.

3 min in goes CL @ 118d F. A/F is 13.3 swing is 360-844 MAP is 64 at idle.

4 min in 02 swing is 460-900 calculated AF is 14.3 actual on WB is 13.8. Earlier in log calc is same as actual. Car is in heated shop.

Now we think the plugs are fouled(N20 2 #on range cooler) but we were having difficulty setting initial as timing light showed advance with tan wire disconnected. So it was seeing repeated starts on low temp coolant. New plugs going in today 2 on range warmer.

I pulled fuel on A/F vs coolant table And pulled 5% out of 0-2000 fuel map #1. BPC is set correctly using EBL utility. We will fire it up today and do test drive with a datalog.

Is the swing of NB 02 as would be expected?
