any chance of it working for a 93 chev pickup? I thought it would be the same as my 88 but when I looked at the aldl connector there's no pin on E. just curious as a buddy of mine is trying to troubleshoot his 93 and I figured I could hookup the laptop for him..

I don't know if it will work with the 93. The 160 baud data stream might be available on another pin.

actually I think his is pin m and its 8192 baud.. will this still work with the basic transistor & 2 resistor cable??

The L98 ECM ( 1227165 ) uses the same pin 'E' for both 160 and 8192 baud data.

I have no idea if it will work on the 93 chev pickup.
