How to wire a trimpot?
I recently bought one at radioshack for a project that I'm tinkering with. I've never used one before and it really has me confused. It has three prongs on it, and it said that the single prong was the wiper contact. But that's all it said...These things are to adjust current right? I hooked it up to my plug pack and meter but it kept allowing the full 12v through no matter which way I turned the little *** on it?
could anyone explain how they work to me thanks.
