What is the best way to do this, I'm thinkin PDL, PW, P. hatch release. should I look for a donor car and pull the wiring out of it or what?

Usually, AFAIK, all thirdgens came with the wires in place to be fully loaded. What you need is the actual accessories, and the control switches. Example: My 87 bird has the wiring connector for the "premium" sound system, but no switches, nor the components. All you'll really need to pull this off, IMO, are Lock actuators, Window motors, and a hatch motor. The car should have the rest of the wiring stuff already in place.

Car: Firebird SSA
Engine: 3.1
Transmission: 700R4
On my 1990, When I added my Lock actuators (don't forget the relay) and Window motors I ran my own wiring. The hatch release switch wiring was there. But didn't connect to the Hatch motor. If I did it again I might have used a stock wiring harness.

I've heard that the wiring is usually there, but I looked under my console and couldn't find any. do they tuck them up under the dash or somethin?

So say I want to add power windows (or doors that already have them)...
where can I find the wires that should go to the electrical components in the door? There are no wires at all in my doors right now. Just wondering

If you want to look for power window wiring (or trunk release), start in the center console where the switches would be. Right-Up = Light Blue, Right-Down = Tan, Left-Up = Dark Blue, Left Down = Brown, Trunk Trigger = Black & Orange

If you want to look for Power Lock wiring, start by removing the driver's side kick panel. Lock = Light Blue, Unlock = Black
