Kill Switch *Kustom Alarm Mod*
I was looking on ebay and i seen they had a Kill Switch selling for 10 bux plus shipping! I did the same exact thing, for free using left over parts but it can easily be done for under 5
Parts needed:
Good length of wire, approx. 16 or up gauge, nothing to thick
Toggle Switch
Those are the only things you need
Procedure:
Remove the panel on the drivers side, to access under the dash *fuse area*
Remove the fuse box, 2 10mm nuts i belive, did this bout 6 months ago so it's off the top of my head
Now look at the fuse labeled ECM, find the wire that hooks into that from the back
Cut the wire
Now crimp one wire to the toggle switch, and crimp the other half cut ECM wire to the toggle switch
You should have two wires going to the Toggle, making it operate in closed and open, find out which way to turn it on and off by testing it.
Once the switch make the circuit "closed" your car will not start at all. When Open, so the ecm is connected again it will start
Locate the switch in a hidden spot so it's out of sight, then hid all the wires and your done
Simple mod, but it's pretty cool and i just saved you money...
