Its Alive!!!
Thanks to a local by the name of Abel, my -'87 LG4 to '89 TPI conversion is complete.
However, when I was reinstalling the fuse box into the lower dash, something fizzled and the interior dome light went out and the headlights will no longer come up.
The IP harness I used had some problems, but I saw no exposed wired before or after the "fizzle"....
I need to buy a FSM for the '89 setup (now that my car is an '89 for all intents and purposes)...but until then, what should I check?

Anyone with a manual on an '89?
The circuit affected appears to include:
Headlights
Parking lights
Horn
Interior dome light
rear hatch "pull down" motor.
Car still starts / runs / stops like it should...so it appears to be just an accessory circuit. I've checked all the fuses in the regular fuse panel and only the "wiper" one was bad...I have not yet replaced it.

Hello DURTYBIRD,
As you might have guessed, I have the 89 manual and will e-mail the requested info to you later today. BTW, I see that you have updated your avatar with a more recent mugshot.

Thanks Trickster. Whenever you can get to it would be great.
The car does have some other issues now, so I think some of the wiring is questionable...when I move some of the wiring under the dash, the fuel pump sometimes wont kick on. looks like I'll be taking the dash back out.
LOL! This project will never end!

Okay Laffer,
The leisure suit and other goods are in the e-mail.
A little side note here, the suit and other goods got wrinkled in the mail pouch and were returned for resizing. Will retry delivery again after much shrinking.

I actually was able to use the '87 diagrams to diagnose my problem. Turned out to be one of the fusible links off the starter. I spliced one in from the LG4 harness that was still good and now am back in business. I'm going through the underdash wiring and found a "rigged" section of the harness - so I could still use those pics when you get them resized.
You can also use rbegley(at)satx.rr.com (home email) and may have better luck with larger documents.
Thanks again!
