Engine: 305
Transmission: 700R4
I don't know what its called but it goes in the heater box under hood and fastens in near blower fan so probably has something to do with that or a/c.

That's the heater fan speed control.

It's the resistor pack for the blower motor. Each of those coils represents a speed on your blower motor (full speed being direct current). If you have a certain speed that doesn't work but the rest do, it's because one of those coils are boogered.
