I currently have my interior out as i am replacing my floors... I noticed a security system in the car as i just bought it a few months ago. I identified it as a Alpine 8046 security system. The problem is when i disconnected the main computer part of the system from it, the car wouldn't start. it is rigged through everything from the windows to the rear hatch and of coarse the ignition. I am eventually going to put a brand new alarm on in the future in a shop, but i want to remove this one. I tried google but nothing.any ideas as to a wiring diagram for it or what i could do to take it out successfully without messing with my car?

it wont start becuse it probably has a starter kill. look to see if the alarm wires split any of your factory wires for the starter. heres the factory wire colors.

ya thanks i did plug the computer back in and it fired up but i still plan to remove the thing totally
