ive got an 86 SC, to start its has no headlight interior lights, or any acc(stereo power) etc.. weve traced it down to a blown fuisble link by the starter and the one by the battery had a bad connection, jumpered it to see if it solved the problem, but no luck just arc welding, it got a dead short some where, but from what we can tell, it can be anywhere on the accesorie grid, anyone else experience this prob, is there a common place on these cars for a short???

Re: Short
Refer to your wiring diagram and find all accessories hooked up to that circuit and disconnect them. Then put a fuse in and start reconnecting them one by one. You should find the offending device in no time.
Hope this helps.
