what will I lose>>
Well, after developing a manifold leak, I decided on getting rid of the TPI and going carb.....finally.
My question is this: what guages/functions will I LOSE after pulling all that wiring and computer out of the car?
I would like to keep everything in the stock gage cluster functioning.
It seems like this goal is not attainable if I actually pull the computer.
I did some searching, but found no real good specifics on this.
Thanks!!!

What will you lose? Power, economy, good emissions and credit here. Going 100 years back does not necessarily solve a manifold leak. I'd say those are solved by new gaskets.
You will NOT lose gauges if you keep the sensor wiring intact. The ECM uses separate sensors so you can disconnect those.
If you remove the ECM, however, you WILL lose cruise control, speedometer, cooling fans and fuel pump prime.
If you do a search here in this Electrical forum, you will find dozens and dozens of posts about TPI->carb swaps and lots of information on how to keep the lost systems working.
You have two main options: fix the gasket leak or enter a nightmare that will last for a few weeks or months. Your call.

You think carburated engines done get maifold leaks!Ive never understood why people with TPI want to go backwards & convert to carbs.Ive got an 84 & would practically kill to have EFI.Swapping a whole eng out just for a manifold(vacume)leak is a whole lot more work. Not to mention the benefits of EFI, as pointed out above.
