oil sensor

ok ive got an 86 camaro with the 305 FI.... been having funky oil pressure readings so im going to change both sensors/switches..... my question is... i can easily find the sender on the right hand side of the pic... but the one on the left?... not a freakin clue... does anyone have the part number for this one... remember it is NOT the same as the later 91-92 ish models.... oh also the only number i found after searching is D1843.... which only shows applicable to the 4 cyl models....

Re: oil sensor

Only the one on the right controls your gauge. The one on the left powers the fuel pump if the relay fails.

You were misinformed. If your voltage is stable, it's probably time to put a mechanical gauge on it and see if it's telling you the truth.
