Speedometer/Odometer

As my 91 Camaro was turning over to 31k miles something went wrong. Now my speedometer is stuck on 97 and the odometer doesn't work either. I know it's not the sensor and I can't afford to take it to the dealership.... any ideas as to why it stopped and how to fix it? Thnks.

Need 4 Speed - ometer

What makes you say it isn’t the VSS?

Also, does the TRIP ODOMETER work?

If you have CRUISE, does it work?

Re: Need 4 Speed - ometer

A friend of mine works at a repair place, they looked at it and when they figured out it wasnt the sensor they told me I was going to have to take it to the dealership. Cruise works. If I have a trip odo. I've never used it.

Set the TRIP ODO to zero.

Drive the car a while and see if the TRIP ODO registers.

Happy Racing!

If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going Backwards

Fog lights are not driving lights. They look doofy. Turn em off slow pokes.

How bout those nervous nellies too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime or if there is a little rain!
