window spring + gauge problem

this week I totally redid my door.

I did the window motors
I did the doorrubbers ( complete softsealed them )
I did the door lock actuators ( I made them work again )
I did Isolated the doors again.
I put new locks in the doors

but on my passenger side door when I did the window, a spring fell out.
the window works now, but it goes up slowly ( could be because of the new rubbers )
but if its the spring that needs to be back, where do I put it in again and how.

second question, I got a nordskog fuel gauge, but it keeps displaying random numbers ( looks like something that can be used in LOST )
it even blacks out sometimes or displays FF.
does anyone know what is going in with the gauge ?

FF means FULL.

You need an anti-slosh circuit to quell the numbers bouncing all over the place.

Here’s how to test the fuel gage.

Remove the sender wire going to the gage.

Tape the removed sender wire so it can’t short.

Use a potentiometer with a value of 90Ω or the closest you can find.

Connect one end the potentiometer to the gage from the location you removed the sender.

Connect the wiper of the potentiometer to ground.

Turn the key to RUN.

Slowly adjust the potentiometer from 0Ω to 90Ω.

If the gage is bad it will exhibit the problem you have.

If the gage is good it will display a 0-99 then FF.

Is it in warrantee?
