Fuel level sending in plastic LS1 tank
I am getting ready to put a plastic LS1 tank into my 89 Camaro along with Marshall SCX gauges. The problem is that the fuel gauge will not read the stock 33-240 ohm. The gauge reads as follows:
Marshal SCX gauge: 0-90, 240-33, 73-10, 20-150 and 0-30 Ohm
$40 autometer unit: 240-33
$40 VDO unit: 0-90
$130 GM 25319676: 0-90 (out of budget)
Has anyone actually installed one of these universal sending units in a plastic LS1 tank (Or just swapped the sensor)? Will one of these cheaper kits work?
