Totally DEAD

92 Camaro from hell is kicking my butt. Son installed starter and connected wires first battery old and dead get a new battery and still dead. Checked grounds and all wires I could find nothing STONE DEAD! Not even the lights go on or anything. Is there a fuseable link I am missing someplace on this car. Anyone in MN near St. Cloud?

This thing has sucked up so much cash and has only gone on and off trailers since purchased.

Re: Totally DEAD

Have you checked the voltage of the new battery?

If it RAN before the new starter install, and the battery has voltage then it's suspect the wires are hooked up wrong.

Re: Totally DEAD

There are usually some fusible links on the starter where the positive battery cable attaches.

Re: Totally DEAD

I had the same thing happen to me on my 90 totally dead. There is a terminal block ( basically a bolt where a bunch of wires hook on)on the right side of the radiator kind of behind the battery check to make sure the nut is tight on it. I can get a picture when I get home.
