Rewiring the Service Engine Soon indicator - 1991 Camaro RS 5.0
In need of help! I've checked several diagrams but no luck.
I have an Intellitronix Dash Cluster on my 1991 Camaro RS and after I first installed it with a buddy I noticed the check engine bulb wasn't illuminating with KOEO or when jumped at the OBD 1 port.
First off - Intellitronix's dash cluster does NOT include a 'Service Engine Soon' placard or indicator so I went to a pick n pull and grabbed an original 91' RS 305 TBI 700r4 RPM tach and some bulbs to start.
First thing I noticed was the Service Engine Soon indicator is part of the RPM tach (see electrical circuit board in picture) and I'll have to cut this off which isn't the problem. Since the new Intellitronix cluster doesn't have this electrical circuit paper on the back, will this impose any problems when trying to hook wire up my SES/Seat belt indicator light?
Both the SES and Seat belt light worked fine on my stock cluster but when swapped to the intellitronix cluster they didn't illuminate - my buddy may have snipped them from the back of the dashboard (Not the cluster itself) because when I took the dash apart I noticed there weren't any bulbs/wires going to the back of the dash cluster where the SES and Seat belt lights originally went to
I took the dash apart and found a Green wire and a white wire cut from the harness that plugs into the dash (see 1st pic).
I'm not sure if these 2 wires are the one's that are meant for the SES and Seat Belt Indicator light but if anyone can chime in here you'll be helping out a lot!
I'd like to solder all wires back in to my cluster but wanted to confirm which are the correct wires for the SES/Seat Belt indicators and if there any test's I can do to the wires to help identify what there used for. IE: Measure resistance etc,.
Reason: I'd like to pull some DTC's so I can address some problems and also smog my vehicle
Vehicle: 1991 Camaro RS 5.0 (l03) TBI, 700r4 Automatic Transmission.
All stock TBI, drive train, etc,. 133K Miles.
Thanks in advance!

All the pinouts, wire colors, and functions are identified in the Helm's factory service manual. You want to get a copy somehow, or a picture from somebody that has the manual.
