Mil-Spec/ Motorsports Grade Trans. Connectors
I am bringing back/ building again all of the Mil-Spec/ Motorsports Grade Transmission Electrical Connectors...
(Main Connectors, Speed Sensor Connectors, Neutral Safety/ Gear-Selector Position Switch, and Adapters) for the 4L60E Family, and the 4L80E Transmissions.
I am starting out with an example of the Late Neutral Safety/ Gear-Selector Position Switch Electrical Connector.

TE Deutsch DT Series 12-Way Female Connector Body (uses Male Terminals), PLR, Plugs, and Terminals shown below:
Assembled 12-Way Delphi Mixed GT Series Connector...
With stress-relieved (Service-Looped), laced, Concentric-Twisted Tefzel (ETFE) Wire shown below:
Partly assembled Mil-Spec/ Motorsports Grade Late Neutral Safety/ Gear-Selector Position Switch Sub-Harness...
With TE Deutsch DT Series 12-Way Female Connector, Delphi Back-Shell, and TE Raychem 25 Heat-Shrink Boot...
Shown below:
TE Raychem DR-25 Heat-Shrink Sleeving also added; shown below:
Actual Circular Mil-Spec Connectors are also an Option, instead of the TE Deutsch DT Series Connector.
An example of an Optional Amphenol Aerospace Grade Connector...

Next the TE Raychem DR-25 Heat-Shrink Sleeve is heated and shrunk over the Wiring.

Like the 12-Way Delphi Mixed GT Series Connector...
The TE Deutsch DT Series 12-Way Female Connector is assembled.
This end of the Wires are also stress-relieved (Service-Looped).
Next, both Connectors have their corresponding TE Raychem Heat-Shrink Boots heated and shrunk in place.
Shown below:
Now the Mil-Spec/ Motorsports Grade Transmission Neutral Safety Switch Wiring Sub-Harness is ready to be mated to a Neutral Safety Switch.
These Neutral Safety Switches are for both the 4L60E and 4L80E Families of Transmissions.

And now the Sub-Harness and the Neutral Safety Switch are Mated...
Only the Electrical Connector Locking-Slide be engaged and the CPA be installed.
Either a Loose or Tethered CPA may be used (the Back-Shell has a Cut-Out for the Tether).
