Heavy ported LT1 cylinder heads and matched intake
For sale is a pair of ported and polished 96 LT1 cylinder heads and LT1 intake that were gasket matched and port matched. the intake is basically stock, but the heads were completely re-done, including a valve job. They were ported by a guy that worked for Corvette restoration shop and flow tested for some competition or something.
The intake runners are very smooth while the exhuast runners were left slightly rough. The high exhaust velocities and the slightly rough ports cause a turbulent boundary layer to form which is thinner than a laminar boundary layer (at the transition) for better flow.
both heads (complete), intake manifold, gaskets, and bench flow-test sheet included.
asking $500 plus shipping from 21234. It all weighs about 50lbs.
