I have a 305 SBC from an '89 RS Camaro that has approximately 170k on it located in Hapton Roads, VA. The engine recently developed a knock after running like a top. There are no valve train related problems that I could see, so I am assuming it could be a rod bearing that has gone. I am offer all that is seen attached to the motor. That includes a good reverse flow water pump, factory crank and water pump serpentine pulleys, tbi unit that was recently cleaned and had new gaskets installed, a coil with approx. 200 miles on it, good working distributor and new coolant temp sensor among the other things that you see attached to it. The engine is an '89 so it is a one piece rear main seal engine and being a car engine it has a factory roller cam. I also have some other stuff that was removed from the car so don't hesitate to ask if you come to look at the engine.
