Possibly the chevy carb if it's an electric choke version.

Re: Older Quadrajets

i have one off a 70 chevy or gmc pickup, needs the base plate replaced but otherwise is in great shape. it was jetted up for a pretty extreme 383 so u may have to toy with that.

Re: Older Quadrajets

Thanks for the offer but I'm looking for 1976 and up Q-jets with the adjustable part throttle. In particular 76-80(or 81 if it's a 49 state) carbs.

Kind of off topic but may I ask why? I would particularly like to know since I have a 78 Q-jet like that on my 350. Just curious what is the benefit.

a few reasons;
1, they are 800 CFM units.All Pontiac and some Olds and Buick carbs.
2, I have a handful of incomplete rare ones and I need parts buggies for them.
3, I like the adjustable part throttle carbs for "more than stock" engines.
4, I do a few rebuilds a year for people around here

Re: Older Quadrajets

If your still looking for q-jets, I have one I am trying to get rid of. Not sure of its numbers right this minute. But I can get them later tonight when I get home. Email me @ merlin6744@gmail.com if your still looking and I will send back the numbers on it.
