and man is that thing loud running open headers Got my ignition coil wired (for more money than I wanted $43 and change for 2 connectors...) part numbers BTW were 12101896, and 12048976. Now All I gotta do is re-find my MAF wire connector, plug in a spark plug (oops), bolt up the y-pipe, tighten down the headers, put the drivers seat back in, put all interior plastic in, and its ready to go go go. lol (Can you tell I am excited?!

I think we can tell. You should post some pics of the beast. I am looking forward to doing my swap which is going to happen in a month or two.
If you ever see a dark blue 87 TA in the Denton area that would be me. (Most likely) I go out to Denton a couple times a week.

Sorry, I connected the exhaust earlier, still sounds mean as hell! I am now living at home in suburban Philadelphia, we have a 5 bedroom house with a large family room and large living room. The living room is at the other end of the house from where the car was. My mom said she would have sworn the car was in the room with her! I also think this beast may have some sort of cam. The idle isn't the nice smooth idle of the old 305, it is just a little lopey; Now that could be because of vacume leaks. I still have a few to work out (mainly my air box, the LT1 maf is a big bigger than the 305's so I had to rig something with PVC...I still need to seal it up. I will be taking a microphone out there and recording the idle, and exhaust as played through SLP 1 3/4 primary headers, and SLP 3" cat back. You tell me what you think about the possibility of a cam
Now I have a question, but I'm going to make a new thread for it, well that is if I can't find the answer by searching that is...

nope question answered, I just skipped the step dealing with the metal coolant line and the throttle body in the cooling setup lol I had it glug a bit of coolant out at me during a warmup of the motor lol. Oh well, tomorrow, I gotta get my fog lights working, and my speedo hooked up to the dash....not a big deal...just gotta find my dakota digital adjuster.
Oh and as for the pic, I will take one, but ya'll gotta promise not to laugh. Its a MESS in there atm. I was more concerned with getting the thing running as this is the first motor swap I ever did and classes start on tuesday (wednesday for me though lol) I will eventually clean up the wiring, and eliminate excess wires, but for now, shine it may, run it must...
