NEED HELP!
OK, the bird went away for some work. Consisting of a swap (305-350) and a new trans. During the swap a holley 650 was installed. I also purchased a 350 turbo trans from installer. Today I found out that he had put a block in to make it appear I did not have overdrive but actually do, so it is the 700. Being that the vac hoses are now off, how do I get 700 to shift properly. I will sue guy but do not want car to sit.

arent 700R4s overdrive controlled electronically? i seem to remember a wiring harness on every one ive taken out...

I dont know what he would have done to accomplish, this, but i would definately be going back to him and raise some hell. The 700r4 is not electronically controlled as far as shifting, it uses a throttle valve cable to control the throttle pressure in the trans. look up tv cable on here you will find the info. dont drive it like it is.

How can I tell if it is working. It shifts high and doesnt drop like it used to. Not sure of shift points. Can not take back car. Car was supposed to be ready on a wed. Try to call guy for 2 weeks and he would not return my calls. Finally showed up at his shop with tow truck and took my car.
